Thought this might be of interest to those of you who have older HS children. It would be great as a daily trivia type thing or 10 min research activity.
Here is another great looking website that I stumbled upon. Some of the stuff is only available through membership but there is also a lot of free stuff anyone can access on there. I came upon the site by googling endangered animals and this site has such an extensive list of activities on the subject that you could use it as a theme covering all the main subjects. There were activities such as word maths problems, reading comprehension and colouring pages for the younger children (and the young at heart).
While searching for activities for the Pippins and Brownies to do at the library today I came upon this great little website. It’s full of word puzzles, colouring pages and all sorts of other activities on a wide range of topics. I was looking for animal things to print out for the kids to do and it was perfect.
These look like they would keep the kids amused for hours. Would make great juggling balls or stress balls or even party bag fillers.
